I bought this rack then returned it as it didn't meet my needs. I bought it for its ability to put a trailer hitch ball. In the end I returned it and here's why: I bike commute part of the way in and it just proved impractical for my every day use. I found the straps particularly difficult to put on compared to my Thule and now Yakima. They had this annoying design flaw where the cradles where the attach to the straps are flimsy, so you're constantly trying to force it on to the peg. Also since the cradles are so flimsy they easily slide off the bike when traveling putting your bike in a sometimes scary position on the highway. The rack folds back for trunk access, and folds in for folding the arms down, but to do these things you need to pull out a cotter pin (also annoying for everyday use). I ended up buying one that has a latch for trunk access and a latch for folding it down.
